The goal of education at the Graduate School of Education of Chugye Art University is to foster talented professionals who will contribute to the ongoing development of Korean traditional music , which will be the cornerstone of the nation's culture. The 21st century is a knowledge-based society that emphasizes the importance of culture. The creative advancement of traditional culture, which has been the foundation of national culture, leads to education and can be achieved when skilled professionals based on tradition perform their roles and functions. The professionals to foster at this graduate school are those who teach Korean traditional music for the education of Korean traditional music and those who support the policy of Korean traditional music education. By nurturing these professionals, current teachers at elementary and secondary schools will understand the spirit of Korean traditional music and its artistic nature, and acquire theories, singing and techniques for performing Gugak in general so that young people who grow up in the educational arena can fully promote Korean traditional music culture through their pride and correct understanding of Korean traditional music In addition, the graduate school aims to provide the foundation for creative development of Korean traditional music culture by doubling its expertise and ability for various traditional culture and art education to those who majored in Korean traditional music .
